Battery Smart Shunt

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION:

The Battery Smart Shunt is a high-precision meter that allows you to check the status of your battery via your smartphone with the smart battery monitor app. This device uses a 500A current shunt to measure the discharge or recharge currents and calculate the Ampere-hours (Ah) going in and out of the battery. It is suitable for lithium, lithium Ion, lead-acid, and nickel-metal hydride batteries.

The following data is displayed in real-time via the Smart Battery Monitor app:

CONNECTING TOTHE SMART BATTERY MONITOR APP:

To connect the Battery Smart Shunt to the Smart Battery Monitor app, follow these steps:

  • Install the Smart Battery Monitor app via Google Play™ or the Apple App Store. You can search for “Smart Battery Monitor”, or use the respective QR codes provided.
  • Open the app and select the Battery Smart Shunt by its serial number.
  • At the “Basic Setting” screen, enter the battery parameter information required followed by tapping “Save Setting” on the bottom.
  • Tapping the setting button on the top right, into the “Calibration” screen, enter the battery parameter information required followed by tapping “Save Setting” on the bottom.
  • You will now be in the Dashboard where you can monitor the battery’s state of charge, voltage, current, time remaining, and the cycle life.
  • Your Battery Smart Shunt is now ready to use.
